Malala Yousafzai win Nobel peace prize 2014 along with Kailash Satyarthi, an Indian children’s rights activist.

Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani teenage education campaigner shot on school bus in 2012 by a Taliban gunman, has won the 2014 Nobel peace prize.

Kailash Satyarthi founded Bachpan Bachao Andolan - or the Save the Childhood Movement - in 1980 and has acted to protect the rights of 80,000 children.

From year 02 to 07 in the Ivory Coast, people were bothered by Civil War held by the rebels from northern region and the southern was held by the government loyals.

Didier Drogba pleaded the warring factions to have a cease-fire. Surprisingly, both are agreed to him and a cease-fire was enacted in Ivory Coast. Few weeks later in an interview Drogba suggested that the game against Madagascar be played in rebel norths capital city "Bouake" and this is the moment that one match of futball brought the whole country together for the 1st time in five years. Government military were invited by rebel to the game to help maintain control during and after the futball match. It was the first time in five years that both side came together without any violence and fighting involved.

After the game, the rebellion army and the government military worked together to control the crowd. The Ivorian Elephants beat Madagascar 5-0.

After the match Didier Drogba, said in press confrence "I have won many trophies in my time," he explained, "but nothing will ever top helping win the battle for peace in my country. I am so proud because today in the Ivory Coast we do not need a piece of silverware to celebrate."

"We had just qualified for the World Cup," said Drogba, "and all the players only wanted one thing – Ivory Coast to be united. The country was divided in two, but we knew we were calling people in the country and they were saying, 'When Ivory Coast is playing the country is united. People who don't [normally] talk to each other, when there is a goal they celebrate together.' We were trying to use this and send the message to our politicians to sit down and talk and try to find some solutions.

Drogba the man who brought country together again through sport. Men began dressing like Drogba and women fell head over heels for him. Drogba became an icon for his country.

A triple gold medal-winning cyclist is still riding his tricycle for five miles a week despite turning 100.

In 1937, Richard Howard won gold in a 24-hour road race covering 335 miles, a 200-mile race and another 100-mile road race - all in one month.

The centenarian used to go cycling with his wife Dorothy, and pedalled to work with his son Peter, now 63, on the back in the 1940s.

The father-of-one had not been on his bike for many years but was prompted to start again after the death of Dorothy who had a stroke aged 90 in 2007.
