Japan marked the second anniversary on Monday of a 9.0 magnitude earthquake hit on March 11, 2011 that killed more than 19,000 people and left thousands of people as homeless. This is a new gallery of before-and-after photographs the rebuilding work and efforts to return to normality.

The pictures reminded me of Tsunami harrowing India. I'm having a magazine of that year full of tsunami's heart-wavering pics along with the stories of the heroes who succeeded it. Kudos!
