Following Images from he 24th annual castells (a Catalonian word that means "castles") competition takes place in Tarragona, Spain.
The Catalan tradition of creating these towers is believed to date back to the end 18th century and is performed by dance groups using precise techniques is part of the Catalan culture. Castellers travelled to the Catalonian town build the highest and most complex human tower to wining this contest. Around 7 thousand people (locals and tourists) watched this incredible 2 days show that was held at the Tarraco Arena Plaza, an old bull ring in Tarragona, southwest of Barcelona.
